Day 84 & 85: Grilled Turkey Sausage and Zuchini Onion Kabobs!

We had turkey sausage with cream sauce again! This time we put the zuchini on skewers with little onions. Everything turned out absolutely scrumptious yet again! The sausages have 170 calories each and the 3 kabobs only have about 50 calories!

We also worked out on Wii Fit last night instead of the EA Active. We found the Wii Fit island track to be a bit more entertaining than the EA Active track. Plus on the Wii Fit version we got to chase a small puppy the whole way. What could be more fun?

Day 79 and 80 – EA Active Injuries

Well, as you might notice on our chart below, we haven’t worked out in two days. The reason for this is that we’ve both managed to hurt ourselves “running” on the EA Active fitness program for Nintendo Wii. We usually think of EA Active as a great way to exercise indoors and get your heartrate going when it’s 120 degrees outside here in the desert. However, maybe this is an activity that we’re going to have to start doing with shoes on instead of barefoot. It seems like we need more support, because both of us seem to have injured our feet in some way. 😦

Day 77 and 78: Workout and Del Taco

On Friday we worked out again. It’s starting to get a little less painful everytime, which is certainly great news!

Also, wanted to take a minute to talk about Del Taco. While the majority of menu item do not fit into a low calorie diet, we were surprised to find that the Original Crunchy Taco only has 130 calories. Can you say awesome?! While I would not recommend dieting exclusively on tacos all day everyday, it is good to know we have some quick lower calorie dining options out there!

The Classic Crunchy Taco is only 130 calories!

Day 71: It’s time to start exercising!

Well, we weighed in again this week, and it seems like our progress has plateaued.  While we’re excited that we’ve been loosing weight without exercising the results just are not the same as they were before. So it’s time to start exercising. We are going to start with  just push-ups, sit-ups, and a little indoor running with EA Active. Day 63: Great Weigh-In this Week!

It’s Friday, so we knew we would want to drink. No worries if you plan ahead though! Brian got tons of steps by cleaning the house so he could enjoy his night, and we both decided to have just a few english muffin treats instead of a large dinner.

Also, we decided to do our weekly weigh-in today. We certainly dread it, and were nervous about it all day! Much to our surprise, Brian lost another 15.7 pounds and Lisa lost 7.7 pounds. Even better, Brian anhilated his goal to get back into the normal BMI range. A normal BMI is between 18.5-25, and Brian is now down to 23.8!  Meanwhile is Lisa has hit her lowest weight ever! Her goal was to reach 115 pounds (her former best weight), and she is now down to 111 pounds! Enjoy our pictures from Wii-Fit below.
