Subway Saves The Day

😦 Lisa and I were really feeling hungry yesterday. It’s getting to the point where we can really feel our stomachs eating themselves. We both did our regular workout plus quarter-mile run. I found that the pain from our ab workout was the only thing that could distract from the pangs of hunger! So, when it came to dinner, Subway really saved the day! I was able to have a nice, foot-long chicken sandwich for only 740 calories, and Lisa’s 6-inch, chicken sandwich with chips was only 680 calories – putting us at the daily totals of 1475 and 1345 calories, respectively.

Day 34 – Subway Again

Yes, Subway again. Jared’s not messing around; Subway is one of the few places where you can eat out and not ruin your diet. It should be noted that you can’t just go into Subway and order something crazy. You’re best bet is to get a 6 inch sub on WHEAT bread with something plain like turkey, roast beef, or they’re “Subway Club” with ham, turkey, and roast beef is fine too. If you order anything other than wheat bread, you might find yourself in trouble – so be careful! You’re best bet is to use a Nutrition Calculator. If you don’t mind eating your sandwich without cheese, that’s a big place to save on calories too. Although, we don’t really like it without cheese.
