Day 63: Great Weigh-In this Week!

It’s Friday, so we knew we would want to drink. No worries if you plan ahead though! Brian got tons of steps by cleaning the house so he could enjoy his night, and we both decided to have just a few english muffin treats instead of a large dinner.

Also, we decided to do our weekly weigh-in today. We certainly dread it, and were nervous about it all day! Much to our surprise, Brian lost another 15.7 pounds and Lisa lost 7.7 pounds. Even better, Brian anhilated his goal to get back into the normal BMI range. A normal BMI is between 18.5-25, and Brian is now down to 23.8!  Meanwhile is Lisa has hit her lowest weight ever! Her goal was to reach 115 pounds (her former best weight), and she is now down to 111 pounds! Enjoy our pictures from Wii-Fit below.

Day 56: Muffin Pizzas Again and Weight Loss Results!

We could not think of a better way to spen Friday night then our favorite mini muffin pizzas! Throw in a little vodka, and we had a fun night! You can check out the recipe by clicking this link: Day 43.

Also thought it would be a good time to weigh in and check our progress. Honestly, I was not expecting to see big results as it has only been one week, but we wanted to be diligent. Man was I surprised when Brian lost 6.4 lbs. and Lisa lost 4.4 lbs! We are certainly excited and are motivated to continue! Check out our progress pictures from Wii Fit below!

Day 50: Overall Weightloss & English Muffin Sandwhiches!

Since it’s day 50 we thought it would be a great idea to weigh-in and measure our overall progress of the diet. We were super pleased to find that Brian had lost 17 pounds, and lisa has lost 6 pounds since the beginning! Definitely excited to be continuing on our diet!

Moving on, can’t stop loving the low calorie English Muffins from Nature’s Grain! We had a few pizzas each, and then thought they would make great sandwiches. These little guys only have 80 calories per muffin versus 2 slices of 70 calorie white bread, you are saving 60 calories a sandwich! We layered on a serving of turkey or ham (6 slices for 45 calories) and a slice of reduced fat provolone from Sargento (50 calories). They were delicious little treats you can top with your favorite low calorie sauces!

Day 49: English Muffin Pizza Feast Again!

Last night was so much fun! We did the english muffin pizza feast again, and it was fabulous! We made the alfredo, classic, and buffalo pizzas. You can find the recipe on our day 43 post. We are absolutely loving this receipe(s) and cannot wait to make them again.

Day 43: English Muffin Pizza Feast

Pizza is still my absolute favorite food, and we are always looking for ways to incorporate it into our diet! We found some Thomas’s Light English Muffins which only have 100 calories each. Then we topped them with a small amount of our favorite sauces, and some Low Fat Mozzerlla cheese made with 2% milk makes an excellent pizza. We also topped them with some ham slices, but you could use chicken or spinach on them as well!

 Preheat your toaster oven to 375 degrees.
