Since it’s day 50 we thought it would be a great idea to weigh-in and measure our overall progress of the diet. We were super pleased to find that Brian had lost 17 pounds, and lisa has lost 6 pounds since the beginning! Definitely excited to be continuing on our diet!
Moving on, can’t stop loving the low calorie English Muffins from Nature’s Grain! We had a few pizzas each, and then thought they would make great sandwiches. These little guys only have 80 calories per muffin versus 2 slices of 70 calorie white bread, you are saving 60 calories a sandwich! We layered on a serving of turkey or ham (6 slices for 45 calories) and a slice of reduced fat provolone from Sargento (50 calories). They were delicious little treats you can top with your favorite low calorie sauces!
