Day 35: Trader Joe’s Adventure

Since it was Friday before a holiday, and Lisa was up ahead so many calories, we decided it would be fun to splurge on some pizza. We were about to go to Little Cesear’s, but we found out that 1 cheese slice = 250 claories, meaning an entire pie has 2,000 calories! So, we decided to see if we could find a healthier frozen option. Surprisingly, we found a Sicilian Red Pepper Pizza from Trader Joes that only has 840 calories per pizza (280 for 1/3 of the pizza). Brian had 1.5 pizza’s and I had a whole pizza. It was tastier than anything Little Ceasear’s could have concocted. We also found a lot of nice dried fruits as well as lots of baked or popped snacks which can easily be incorporated into our low calorie diet.
